A new anti aging topical, chemical name FURFURYLADENINE,
is one of the compounds regulating plant development.
Preventing the aging of leaves and regulating the plant's survival under critical environmental conditions.
Clinical studies were conducted at the University of California, Irvine,
to evaluate the safety and efficiency on improving mild to moderate aging facial skin.
Previous studies showed furfuryladenine delayed biochemical and morphologic changes associated
with aging skin and fibroblasts (collagen) cells. The Irvine studies confirmed this and it is effectively delivered into the skin, improving fine wrinkling and hyperpigmentation over six months, without sun sensitivity or irritation. The ingredient is often labeled as kinetin and may be applied twice daily with glycolic acid acting as a delivery agent. A product named Kinerase is available from physicians, pharmacies and estheticians.
Later in life large pores are caused by the skin losing elasticity from low estrogen. The pore opening is allowed to drape open along with fine to severe wrinkling developments. Estrogen's are known to protect against heart disease, hardening of the arteries among other disorders by making tissue soft and supple. A study from the University of Vienna Medical School, Austria, has done a six month study of vaginal estrogen cream .01% Estradiol or .3% Estriol applied topically on postmenopausal women. "after 6 month of treatment, a marked improvement in skin elasticity and firmness was noted; wrinkle depth and pore size decreased by 61 and 100 percent in the estradiol and estriol group, respectively. Skin moisture and collagen synthesis increased significantly." Check with your doctor to see if this would interfere with HRT (hormone replacement therapy) if applicable. Mix equal parts estrogen cream, 10-20 or 30% glycolic acid gel or cream and sometimes water in the palm of your hand and apply quickly to the face, eyes, neck and chest apply any left over mix to the back of the hands.
