The SPF number on sunblocks is calibrated with UVB rays the FDA does not have a monograph or labeling requirements for UVA exposure but serious consideration is under way. Since UVA protection is unregulated the skin care industry is protecting itself and customers by adding UVA blockers to sunblock and sunscreen formulas. The Parsol 1789 in this sunblock is considered to be one of the best UVA blockers by doctors, chemists and skin care professionals. Research studies have found adding in vitamin A, C and E as antioxidants can reduce free radials in the 90% range. Although a good sunblock will block free radicals adding in the antioxidants substantially increases the percentage.
This ultra-lite, absorbable, greaseless lotion contains Parsol 1789, which provides extra sheer protection against UVA radiation as well as UVB protection, formerly available only with the thicker titanium dioxide and zinc oxide-based sunblocks. Ultra-Lite Oil Free Sunblock SPF30 is fortified with pro vitamin B5, micellized vitamin A, vitamin C and micellized vitamin E for all skin types for superb sun protection.

Sunblock directions- Adults and children six months of age and over apply evenly 30 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after swimming, excessive perspiring or towel drying.
